Originally from Pakistan, Kay’s passion for repurposing items began in her household through huge inspiration from her mother. She completed a post graduate degree in interior design and fashion, an MBA in Australia before moving to Canada in 2006. Through various life events, Kay has been motivated to work on her creative skills leading her to pursue an interior designing business here in Canada. After much success, one thing led to another and she started her second company - Skilled Accents.

Karima comes from Afghanistan. She came to Canada in 2004. Her passion for sewing is what motivated her to work exceptionally well at Skilled Accents. She loves the working environment the team provides. She also loves how Kay motivates every single team member with her kindness and enthusiasm. Karima hopes to one day further her career in what she loves the most - sewing.

Phul came to Canada from Nepal in 2012. Her struggle with the English language lead her to go to school for three years and learn English. Being a mother of three kids, she has a big responsibility of helping her family. Phul has a passion for creativity. She loves planting and gardening. The work environment and her team members motivate her to work hard.

Damanti came from Nepal in 2014. She went to school for three years to learn English. Damanti's work experience pushed her to learn a creative activity - sewing. She loves sewing and hopes to make exceptional products for Skilled Accents.
